Understanding Casino Games – A Comprehensive Guide for Malaysian Players
Online Live Casino has revolutionized the way Malaysian players enjoy traditional casino games. Before the digital era, the only way to experience the atmosphere of a real baccarat or roulette table was to visit a physical casino — an option that was not accessible for most Malaysians. Now, s99 brings that experience directly to your screen at a quality that was once unimaginable.
Complete Guide to Playing Baccarat at s99
Baccarat is the most popular casino game in Malaysia and Asia, and there are solid reasons behind that popularity. The game is easy to grasp despite looking complex at first glance. At its core, you simply choose to bet on either "Player" or "Banker" — whichever side gets a total closest to 9 wins. There is also a "Tie" option if you predict both sides will finish with the same total.
At the s99 Live Baccarat table, the dealer deals two cards to the Player and two to the Banker. Cards 2 through 9 carry their face value, while Aces count as 1 and picture cards (J, Q, K) plus 10 count as 0. If the total of two cards exceeds 9, only the second digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15 is counted as 5. In certain situations, a third card may be drawn according to the rules set by the game.
Many experienced baccarat players at s99 prefer betting on the Banker because statistically, the Banker holds a slightly lower house edge compared to the Player. Keep in mind, however, that Banker wins are subject to a 5% commission charged by the casino to offset that statistical advantage.
Basic Blackjack Strategies You Can Use at s99
Unlike Baccarat or Roulette, which rely almost entirely on luck, Blackjack is a game where your strategy and decisions genuinely affect the outcome. Basic Blackjack strategy is a set of optimal decisions that shows the best action to take based on your cards and the dealer's exposed card.
For example, basic strategy advises you to always stand when your hand totals 17 or more, and hit when your total is 8 or less. For mid-range hands, specific rules apply depending on the dealer's visible card. Memorising basic blackjack strategy can reduce the house edge to under 0.5%, making it one of the best-value games for players at s99.
Roulette – The Classic Game of Chance at s99
Roulette is arguably the most visually recognisable casino game, with its spinning wheel and bouncing ball landing on a single number. At s99, there are two main roulette formats – European with 37 pockets (0 to 36) and American with 38 pockets (00, 0 to 36). For better value, we recommend European roulette due to its lower house edge of 2.7% compared to 5.26% for the American version.
Roulette betting types at s99 are highly varied. "Inside" bets such as straight-up (a single number) pay 35:1 but carry lower odds, while "outside" bets such as red/black or odd/even pay 1:1 with nearly 50-50 odds. This variety of betting options is what makes roulette suitable for all types of players, from the conservative to the high-risk seeker.
